About this fabric
This Ashley Wilde design from the Tahiti Collection is woven in 100% polyester and specified for general domestic upholstery and drapes, making it a versatile mid-weight option for furnishing schemes. The fabric has a 133cm width, a 25,000 rub test result, and a substantial 390gsm / 546g per linear metre weight, which supports its suitability for seating as well as softer decorative use. In this colourway, the floral and botanical motif is shown in deep teal, pale aqua and soft ivory against a very dark ground, giving the pattern strong definition and a cooler, more sophisticated tone. The 45cm vertical and horizontal repeats create a regular, statement-scale rhythm that is clearly visible in the image. The overall effect is crisp, layered and slightly jewel-like rather than bright or playful.
How to use it
Use Prunella River on a sofa, armchair or cushion scheme where the dark ground can anchor lighter walls and timber finishes. It also works well as drapes in a room with brass, smoked wood or chalky neutrals, letting the teal botanicals provide the colour.
