Mulberry Garden Antique

Garden Party FabricFD2035.J52

Mulberry Garden Antique has an antique-cream ground covered with densely arranged floral sprays, leafy stems and repeated ornamental urns. Coral, muted teal, mossy green and ochre accents give the design a gently aged, tapestry-like character.

About this fabric

The pale cream background lets the coral flowers and blue-green foliage read clearly, while small ochre urns add warm punctuation throughout the repeat. The overall colourway is softly muted rather than bright, with a layered, collected look created by the closely packed garden imagery. Woven from 90% cotton and 10% linen, the fabric is 137 cm wide and has a 58 cm vertical repeat with a 27.4 cm horizontal repeat. Its supplied uses include curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this antique-cream colourway to soften a traditional sitting room, reading nook or bedroom, pairing its coral and teal details with warm painted wood, aged brass and understated plain fabrics. The dense medium-scale repeat is especially effective on a feature chair, relaxed curtains or a coordinating bedspread.

A softly traditional garden print that brings antique cream, coral, teal and ochre together across upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
