About this fabric

Finley Ink from the Verona Collection by Ashley Wilde is a 100% polyester plain fabric, made in China and suitable for general domestic upholstery and drapes. With a 35,000 rub test, it offers the durability expected of a practical furnishing cloth, while the 140cm width supports efficient make-up for both seating and window treatments. Visually, the colour is a cool ink navy with slight charcoal undertones, so it looks crisp in daylight and richer in lower light. The fine woven grain gives the cloth a calm, even finish that avoids a flat or synthetic look despite the robust 400gsm weight.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a tailored sofa, headboard or dining chairs where a dark, controlled navy will anchor the scheme. It also works well as curtains in a pale or warm interior, where the inky tone adds contrast without turning black.

A dark, versatile navy that adds depth without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
