About this fabric

At 509 gsm, Moray Sand has the substantial handle expected of a robust woven upholstery cloth. Its 139 cm useable width offers a broad working surface, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats confirm a plain, non-directional design. Fine threads shift gently between beige and slightly deeper sandy tones, giving the surface quiet depth without a printed motif. The warm, pale colour keeps the overall effect relaxed and softly tactile.

How to use it

Use Moray Sand on a generously upholstered sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm beige tone can soften darker timber and bring lightness to the room. Pair it with chalky whites, natural oak and muted terracotta to draw out the weave’s gentle warmth.

The substantial 509 gsm weave brings warm sandy texture to relaxed upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
