Ario Wide Width Fern

Ario Wide Width Fern is a quiet olive-green textile with a subtly linear woven surface. Its deep fern tone reads earthy and muted rather than bright, while the close-up shows delicate shifts of lighter and darker green across the cloth.

About this fabric

The plain surface has no visible motif or repeat, allowing the restrained fern colour and fine horizontal grain to provide the visual interest. At 198 gsm and 48.5 threads per cm, it has a light-to-midweight feel with a closely woven appearance that remains soft rather than bulky. The generous 308 cm usable width is well suited to wide curtain drops and expansive upholstery cuts. Supplied pattern repeats are 0 cm vertically and horizontally, consistent with the uninterrupted plain design shown here.

How to use it

Use this muted, cool-leaning fern green to bring an understated botanical depth to neutral rooms, particularly as full-height curtains or on occasional seating. Pair it with warm timber, stone and soft oat tones to draw out the shade’s earthy character without making the scheme feel heavy.

A subdued fern-green plain weave with a fine, quietly textured surface for curtains, blinds or softly tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
