About this fabric

The swatch is a quiet clay-taupe, warmed by a subtle beige cast rather than a sharp grey. Its close, even weave creates a fine crosshatched surface with very little visual pattern, while the 198 gsm weight keeps it lighter than a heavy upholstery cloth. At 308 cm usable width, it can provide generous curtain drops or broad upholstery panels with minimal joins. The 0 cm vertical and horizontal repeats confirm a plain, non-repeating surface, and the 48.5 threads-per-centimetre count reflects its finely woven appearance.

How to use it

Use the softened clay warmth to balance chalky creams, natural timber and aged brass, or pair it with deeper tobacco and brown accents for a more grounded scheme. Its quiet texture suits relaxed curtains as well as clean-lined occasional upholstery.

Use this warm clay-taupe neutral to soften tailored upholstery or bring gentle texture to full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
