About this fabric

Woven in 54% polyester and 46% cotton, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for Severe Contract Upholstery And Drapes and carries a 50,000 Severe Contract rub test, making it a practical choice for demanding interiors. At 140cm wide and with a substantial 459 grams per linear metre, it feels like a robust mid-weight cloth rather than a delicate drapery fabric. Visually, Lunar Charcoal is a cool, smudged grey with a faintly mottled depth that softens the darker tone and keeps it from looking flat. The plain weave and lightly striated texture add enough interest for large seating pieces, blinds or curtains without introducing pattern.

How to use it

Use this charcoal tone to ground pale oak, concrete and brushed metal, or to add a tailored edge to lighter upholstery schemes. It also works well as a darker drape where you want the fabric to recede and frame the room quietly.
