About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 3 collection, Thornby Champagne is a drapes-only fabric woven in 68% Recycle Polyester, 26% Cotton and 6% Polyester. At 138cm wide and 225gsm, it has enough substance for a tailored curtain while still appearing fluid and easy-going in the hand. The visible finish is a warm off-white with beige-gold undertones, broken by fine vertical streaking that adds a natural, linen-like texture. Its low-contrast colouring keeps the pattern subtle, so the fabric reads as a quietly detailed neutral rather than a statement stripe. Made in India, it suits window treatments where a soft, polished lightness is the goal.

How to use it

Use this champagne tone to soften darker joinery, timber furniture or stone interiors, where its warm neutrality will lift the room without adding glare. It is especially effective in layered curtains, pairing neatly with textured sheers, pale woods and brushed metallics.
