About this fabric

Part of Essential Weaves Vol 3 by Ashley Wilde, Thornby Ivory is a drapes-only fabric woven from 68% recycled polyester, 26% cotton and 6% polyester. At 138cm wide and 225gsm, it has enough body for a neat curtain hang while still reading soft and approachable. The colourway is a warm, muted ivory with beige flecking through the vertical slub texture, so it feels quieter and less stark than a bright white. The 24cm vertical repeat and 23cm horizontal repeat support the long, linear rhythm visible in the cloth, giving the surface a gently weathered, textural look.

How to use it

This ivory tone suits rooms that need brightness without a cold finish, especially against oak, pale stone or painted timber. It is particularly effective in relaxed schemes where the subtle stripe can add interest without overpowering patterned furnishings.

Use for airy curtains or softened blinds where a subtle textured stripe is wanted.
