About this fabric

Flitton Ivory from Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 3 is a drapes-only fabric woven in 68% recycle polyester, 26% cotton and 6% polyester. At 140cm wide and 225gsm, it has enough substance for a structured curtain while still appearing light and airy in the cloth. The small geometric pattern is visible as a fine, repeated herringbone-like texture that sits tone-on-tone rather than bold or graphic. Its ivory colouring is warm-neutral and softly reflective, giving the swatch a fresh, understated look rather than a stark white finish.

How to use it

Use this ivory colourway to soften larger windows, where its pale tone will help lift a room without drawing attention away from the rest of the scheme. It pairs especially well with natural wood, stone and chalky paint colours.

A clean ivory weave that brightens windows with a quiet, textured finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Flitton Ivory without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
