Flitton Mole
Essential Weaves Vol 3 FabricEWV3FLITTON
Flitton Mole shows a tightly worked zigzag weave in a muted mole-grey tone with a dry, tactile surface. The small geometric pattern reads subtle and disciplined rather than bold.

About this fabric
Woven in India, this drapes-only fabric is composed of 68% Recycle Polyester, 26% Cotton and 6% Polyester, with a width of 140cm and a weight of 315gsm / 225gmsm. The pattern repeat is small and restrained, at 2.5cm vertically and 11.5cm horizontally, which keeps the chevron-like texture looking finely ordered across the cloth. In this colourway, the grey is warm and dusty rather than cool, with a mole undertone that softens the contrast of the weave. The surface catches the light gently, giving the fabric a tailored, quietly textured finish.
How to use it
Use Flitton Mole for contemporary curtains, Roman blinds or interlined drapes where a calm grey ground is needed without losing texture. It pairs especially well with oak, chalk white and deeper charcoal accents.
A quietly textured grey that layers neatly into calm, tailored interiors.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Flitton Mole without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
