Eastcote Silver
Essential Weaves Vol 3 FabricEWV3EASTCOTE
Eastcote Silver is a softly tonal weave with a pale silver-grey ground and a fine, almost speckled texture across the surface. The finish reads light and calm, with just enough visual depth to keep it from feeling flat.

About this fabric
Woven in 68% Recycle Polyester, 26% Cotton and 6% Polyester, Eastcote Silver is a drapes-only fabric with a substantial 320 g/linear m handle and a 142 cm width. Its small-scale textured pattern is visible as a delicate, irregular grain that catches the light without becoming high contrast. The overall colour is a cool, misty silver grey, softened by the cotton content so it feels more like a textured neutral than a metallic sheen. With a 33 cm vertical repeat and 23.5 cm horizontal repeat, the design has a measured rhythm that works particularly well in full-length curtains. Made in India, it offers a refined, modern look with enough body to hang neatly.
How to use it
Use Eastcote Silver where you want a bright but restrained backdrop, especially in rooms with pale woods, stone or brushed metal finishes. Its cool silver-grey tone pairs neatly with charcoal, white and soft blue for a clean, tailored scheme.
A pale, quietly reflective weave that suits airy curtains and layered contemporary schemes.

Pairs well with
Eastcote Silver is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
