About this fabric

This colourway sits in a very dark, matte black tone with only the faintest texture catching the light across the surface. As part of the Amalfi collection, it is a plain design made for contract use, and its 100% polyester composition supports a hard-wearing feel. The fabric is rated at 60,000 Martindale and supplied back coated to cigarette & match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request. Visually, the swatch feels dense and refined, making the black read as solid and even rather than glossy or inky.

How to use it

Use Amalfi Black to anchor upholstered dining chairs, banquettes, or structured armchairs where a crisp dark finish is needed. It pairs especially well with pale woods, brass, and textured neutrals that lift the depth of the black.

Use as a sharp, grounding neutral for tailored seating or contract scheme accents.
