Kent Duck
Kent FabricL9405-15
Kent Duck is shown here in a deep, almost inky black that reads calm and refined rather than stark. The plain weave gives the colour a soft matte look with just enough surface texture to hold the light.

About this fabric
This colourway is a very dark black with a subtle green-brown undertone, so it feels softened rather than flat. Made from 100% cotton and supplied at approximately 142cm wide, it has a clean, natural handle that suits tailored interior use. The repeat is vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm approximately, confirming the plain appearance visible in the swatch. Its dense, understated finish makes it especially effective where a strong neutral is needed without sheen.
How to use it
Use this deep black tone on structured upholstery, dining chairs or a headboard for a crisp, architectural finish. It also works well against pale timber, chalky walls or brushed metal to sharpen a room’s contrast.
A sleek near-black cotton that works well on tailored seating and monochrome schemes.

Pairs well with
Kent Duck is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
