Sinta Ebony

Kandi FabricL9532-03

Sinta Ebony combines a strong black-and-ivory palette with a layered, leaf-like geometric repeat. The effect is graphic but softened by the woven, slubby texture visible across the cloth.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is supplied as a 136cm-wide cloth with a repeat of approximately V 100cm and H 46cm, so the bold motif reads in generous, structured repeats. The composition of 40% viscose, 25% cotton, 17% lyocell, 12% linen and 6% polyester gives the surface a natural, tactile look with a slight sheen in the lighter ground. In Ebony, the design feels especially crisp: inky charcoal and black strokes sit over an ivory base, creating a high-contrast pattern with a cool, tailored edge. The visible weave has a linen-like irregularity that stops the motif from feeling flat, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Pair this ebony colourway with pale oak, chalky paint and plain textiles to balance the graphic repeat. It works well as a feature curtain, armchair fabric or bench upholstery where the contrast can be seen from a distance.

Use on statement seating or tailored curtains to let the bold contrast pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
