Kent Charcoal
Kent FabricL9405-08
Kent Charcoal is a near-black cotton with a very dark charcoal cast and a smooth, even surface. The tone reads sober and quiet, with just enough warmth to stop it feeling flat.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% cotton and measuring approximately 142cm wide, Kent Charcoal is a plain fabric with no visible repeat, giving it a pared-back, versatile look. The swatch appears almost black at first glance, then opens into a softened charcoal as the light catches the weave. Its matte, tightly woven surface suits a tailored interior where depth of colour matters more than pattern. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use this charcoal alongside chalk whites, pale oak and brushed metal to sharpen its dark, grounded feel. It is especially effective on structured seating, neat cushions or simple blinds where the colour can read as a strong, quiet anchor.
A stark, near-black cotton for clean-lined upholstery or tailored blinds.

Pairs well with
Kent Charcoal is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
