About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Alaska Noir is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test and a width of 146cm. The swatch reads as a very dark charcoal rather than a flat jet black, with subtle tonal variation that softens the overall effect. Its plain surface has a refined, close-woven finish that looks clean and controlled in the light. At 438 grams per linear metre and 300 grams per square metre, it has the substance to hold shape on seating while still working well for structured window treatments.

How to use it

This near-black shade suits contemporary upholstery, club chairs and bench seating where you want depth without shine. It also gives drapes a crisp, architectural fall, especially beside pale plaster, oak or brushed metal.

Use it for tailored upholstery or long drapes to keep the finish sleek and understated.
