Melita Linen

Melita Fabric

Melita Linen presents a composed taupe-grey surface with a fine woven texture that becomes especially clear where the cloth folds. Its muted tone shifts gently between warm beige and soft charcoal in the changing light.

About this fabric

The close, small-scale weave creates a subtly pebbled surface rather than a flat plain, with tiny tonal variations running throughout the cloth. In the deeper folds it reads as a cooler, shaded grey-taupe, while the raised areas reveal a lighter linen-beige cast. The relaxed drape visible in the swatch shows how the texture holds definition without appearing bulky.

How to use it

Use this restrained taupe-grey colourway to soften darker timber, charcoal upholstery or warm stone interiors. Its quiet woven variation would also sit comfortably alongside cream, putty and muted olive accents.

A softly structured taupe-grey weave that brings quiet texture to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
