About this fabric

The plain surface is smooth and softly lustrous, with the changing light gently highlighting the ridges and recesses of each fold. Its mole colouring sits between warm grey and muted brown, giving the fabric more depth than a straightforward beige while retaining a restrained feel. The fluid drape visible in the image makes this colourway particularly suited to curtains, where its tonal shifts can be seen as the cloth gathers and falls.

How to use it

Use Matador Mole for full-length curtains in a room built around warm stone, mushroom and dark timber tones. Its muted brown-grey depth also works well as a calm backdrop to aged brass or softly coloured upholstery.

A fluid mole-taupe cloth for softly gathered curtains and tonal, understated interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
