Matador Tan
Matador Fabric
Matador Tan has a rich caramel-brown appearance, with gentle tonal variation where the fabric gathers and catches the light. The close view shows a smooth, plush-looking surface rather than a visible woven motif.

About this fabric
This Warwick fabric reads as a warm, earthy tan-brown, shifting from softly illuminated caramel on the raised folds to deeper brown in the shaded creases. Its smooth surface reflects light subtly, giving the plain colourway a quiet lustre and a sense of depth. The fabric is shown in broad, fluid folds that suggest a substantial, pliable handle suitable for upholstery. No performance features, composition, width or test data are noted in the supplied specification.
How to use it
Use Matador Tan to give a sofa, headboard or occasional chair a warm, enveloping presence, especially alongside dark timber, aged brass and quiet cream upholstery. Its caramel undertone can also soften rooms built around charcoal, olive or deep brown accents.
Its warm caramel-brown tone and softly lustrous surface bring depth to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Pairs well with
Matador Tan is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
