Marvic Taupe

Marvic Fabric

Marvic Taupe presents an ornate floral damask in layered taupe tones, with a lighter ground set against deeper botanical motifs. The close-up shows a softly textured surface that gives the pattern gentle definition rather than sharp contrast.

About this fabric

The design is densely filled with curling leaves, stylised blossoms and fan-like botanical forms, creating a formal all-over composition. Its warm mushroom-taupe ground is overlaid with muted brown-grey motifs, so the colourway reads softly tonal while retaining visible depth. Fine surface texture catches the light across the weave and subtly breaks up the large floral shapes. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Marvic Taupe to bring quiet pattern to a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains, especially alongside ivory, walnut and other warm neutral finishes. Its muted taupe depth works well where a room needs ornament without a strong colour contrast.

Pair the warm taupe ground and deeper tonal florals with natural woods, linen and softly aged finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
