About this fabric

This plaid is woven from 50% Wool and 50% Merino Wool and measures 150 cm wide. Its balanced 12 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats form a neat checked grid, with pale lines lifting the taupe base and narrow red stripes bringing subtle warmth. The understated contrast keeps the colourway relaxed and quietly tailored across curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. It must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Islay Stone to bring a cool, softened taupe note to an armchair, headboard or full-length curtain, then pick up its ivory checks with plain light upholstery or bedding. The fine red lines can be echoed sparingly in piping or a small accent cushion.
