Walton Stone is a muted stone-taupe check with a softly weathered, woven appearance. Fine pale lines form an even grid across the cloth, while the woolly surface gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The design is built from narrow cream and grey lines crossing at regular intervals, creating a restrained check with a quiet country character. Its 50% Merino Wool and 50% Wool composition gives the visible surface a softly textured, substantial look suited to both upholstery and drapery. Supplied at 150 cm wide, the fabric has a 10 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 10 cm horizontal pattern repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and must be professionally dry cleaned rather than washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the cool stone-taupe ground to soften a neutral sitting room, on a loose-covered chair, tailored sofa or full-length curtain. Pair it with chalky whites, warm timber and muted olive accents to pick up the check’s understated rural tone.
