About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide fabric recreates the look of linen in a softly textured, pale cream colourway. The close-up shows fine horizontal and vertical threads creating a subtle woven crosshatch, while the light surface keeps the overall effect airy and understated. Suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, it can also be used for drapery where a relaxed linen look is wanted. BAC1231 is machine washable and is rated for domestic cigarette and match flame retardancy; it can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory tone to soften painted furniture, relaxed seating or full-height curtains, pairing it with chalky whites, natural timber and muted taupes. Its almost patternless weave also works well as a calm base beside stronger textures or colour.

A softly textured pale cream neutral for relaxed upholstery, curtains and light, tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
