Alto FabricALT4219

ALT4219 presents a pale ivory ground closely threaded with fine taupe and warm beige flecks. Its softly irregular chenille surface gives the light colourway gentle depth rather than a flat plain finish.

About this fabric

This Alto colourway is a domestic-grade chenille made from 84% polyester and 16% recycled cotton, with a 138cm width. The close, nubby weave is visibly layered with tiny horizontal and vertical tonal variations, creating a quiet woven texture across the pale surface. Warm taupe threads temper the ivory base, giving it a softer, more grounded appearance than a clean white. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use ALT4219 on a relaxed armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm ivory and taupe flecking can sit comfortably with oatmeal, walnut, stone and muted brown accents. Its subtle texture also works well as a calm counterpoint to stronger patterned cushions.

A softly flecked ivory upholstery chenille that pairs easily with warm timber, stone and natural linens.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
