Austen Pistachio

Darwin Collection FabricAUSTEN

Austen Pistachio is a pale, airy green with a cool, misted softness that reads quietly refined on the roll. The surface has a subtle horizontal grain that catches the light without looking glossy.

About this fabric

Shown here as a smooth plain, Austen Pistachio has a gentle pistachio tone that sits between sage and eau-de-nil, with a muted freshness rather than a bright spring green. The fine crosswise texture gives the colour a softly striated look, which adds interest even without a motif. Made in India from 90% recycled polyester and 10% polyester, it is specified as drapes only, with a 140cm width and a substantial 280 grams per linear metre / 200 grams per square metre body. The 0 horizontal repeat confirms the uninterrupted plain effect visible in the swatch.

How to use it

This colourway works well for relaxed contemporary curtains, especially where you want a light, leafy tone that still feels composed. Pair it with warm oak, chalky whites or brushed brass to bring out its cool-green clarity.

A calm pistachio plain that adds a fresh, tailored note to windows and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
