Lanata Aqua/Pink

Rousseau - Atmosphere VIII FabricJ0168-01

Lanata Aqua/Pink has a layered, painterly stripe effect with soft aqua, blush pink and earthy taupe running through the weave. The irregular bands give it a lively, textured surface that feels fresh but not sugary.

About this fabric

Lanata Aqua/Pink from the Rousseau - Atmosphere VIII collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a repeat of V 38cm / H 63cm approx and a width of 126cm approx. Its 47% cotton, 29% viscose and 24% polyester composition helps support the tactile, slightly slubby look visible in the image. The colourway mixes cool aqua with muted pink, rust and taupe, creating a layered surface that reads more weathered and artistic than bright. The horizontal brushstroke-like bands have a medium-scale rhythm, making the design noticeable without overwhelming a room.

How to use it

This colourway works well on an accent chair, banquette or cushions where the aqua can lift darker timber and the pink tones can soften greys. It also suits relaxed curtains or blinds when you want a patterned fabric that still feels calm and contemporary.

Use with simple woods and plain linens to let the layered aqua and rose tones stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
