About this colour

This shade reads as a warm, dusty pink with a beige-brown softness in the mix, so it feels grounded rather than pastel. On walls it lifts the room without flashing bright, taking the edge off strong light and holding its colour well in flat matt, eggshell and soft sheen. In a north-facing room it will look more subdued and slightly cooler, with the muted rose note coming forward; in south-facing light it turns warmer and more biscuity, with the pink reading more clearly. It works well alongside natural oak, walnut, deep red-brown timbers and textiles in taupe, terracotta, plum and softened green.

How to use it

Use Dirty Sherbet in bedrooms, sitting rooms or dressing spaces where a calm pink wall is wanted without going sugary. It suits painted woodwork in the same tone or deeper timber, and sits neatly beside patterned upholstery in muted florals, checks or plain linens.

Dirty Sherbet is a soft, warm pink that settles quietly on the wall.
