About this colour
This shade reads as a pale, muted blush with a grey note, so it feels warm without becoming creamy or overtly pink. On walls it lifts light well, but it does so softly, keeping a room bright without glare. In a north-facing room it can lean a little cooler and more stone-like, while in south-facing light the pink warmth comes forward and the colour feels more tender. It works well beside oak, walnut and painted joinery, and it gives a calm backdrop to upholstery in taupe, sage, charcoal or deeper berry tones. In Flat Matt it will look the quietest and most pared-back, while Eggshell or Soft Sheen will make the same colour feel a touch sharper on woodwork.
How to use it
Use it in bedrooms, sitting rooms or dressing areas where you want a pale colour with more depth than white. It sits neatly with painted skirting, panelling and timber furniture, and it is an easy neighbour for patterned curtains and upholstered chairs in muted florals or warm neutrals.
A soft pink-grey like this brings warmth to a wall without feeling bright.
