Bambu Gull

Nova FabricL9485-03

Bambu Gull reads as a calm, airy cream with a faint warm undertone and a softly washed linen surface. In the drape shown here, it falls with a relaxed, natural fluidity that feels light rather than crisp.

About this fabric

This colourway has a gentle gull-cream tone that sits between ivory and pale oat, with subtle variations that let the weave show through. The 55% wool and 45% linen composition gives it a dry, softly textured handle and a refined matte look, while the approx. 328cm width makes it especially practical for broad drops and large-scale furnishing. With no repeat at V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the surface reads as an understated plain rather than a patterned fabric. The overall effect is fresh, quiet and softly luminous, with enough body to work across both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Bambu Gull to soften darker timber, bronze and stone finishes, or pair it with layered whites for a hushed, tonal scheme. Its pale cream note is ideal when you want warmth without introducing a strong colour statement.

A quietly elegant neutral that layers easily with timber, stone and chalky whites.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
