Oscar Prune

Oscar FabricM4112-32

Oscar Prune is a richly toned plain linen with a deep plum-wine appearance and a subtly dry, natural surface. The colour reads dark and intimate, with just enough variation in the weave to keep the cloth alive.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Oscar Prune has a quiet, matte finish that shows the character of the fibre rather than any decorative motif. The swatch reads as a saturated prune and blackcurrant purple, softened by the fabric’s natural texture and the slightly mottled look of the weave. With a width of approximately 142cm and no visible vertical or horizontal repeat, it offers an easy, uninterrupted cloth for tailored schemes. The C 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code complete a specification that supports use across both upholstery and drapery projects.

How to use it

Use this deep plum shade on an accent chair, ottoman or lined curtain to add warmth without brightness. It sits particularly well with dark wood, brass, stone and other muted jewel tones.

Pairs beautifully with walnut timber and warm metallic accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
