Oscar Paille is a warm, sunlit linen with a calm, even surface and a softly muted ochre-gold tone. The cloth reads plain and understated, letting the colour and natural weave do the work.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Oscar Paille has a dry, lightly textured handle and a quiet, regular appearance with no repeat, shown here as a clean plain ground. The colour sits between straw and old gold, giving it a warm yellow note rather than a bright citrus cast. Its 142cm approximate width makes it practical for both upholstery and drapery applications, depending on the finished effect you want. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this soft ochre tone to bring warmth to neutral interiors, especially alongside timber, parchment, and aged brass. It feels most at home in rooms that need a gentle lift rather than a strong accent.

A warm ochre linen that works well on tailored upholstery or simple curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
