Padang Or

Palto FabricM4119-05

Padang Or brings a lively mustard-gold glow to the Palto collection, with a crisp geometric motif that reads clearly across the surface. The pattern feels bright and ordered, with ivory highlights that keep the colourway fresh rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This colourway combines a warm golden ground with pale ivory patterning, giving the design a sunlit, slightly textured look. The repeating geometric motif is set at an approximate 14cm vertical and horizontal repeat, creating a regular rhythm that suits statement upholstery or tailored drapery. Woven in 58% Cotton, 32% Viscose, 8% Acrylic and 2% Polyester, the cloth has enough body for structured use while the viscose adds a softer, more luminous handle. At approximately 135cm wide, it offers practical coverage for larger pieces, and the √CM fire code is noted in the supplied specification. The overall effect is smart and decorative, with the mustard tone bringing warmth without appearing too brash.

How to use it

Use Padang Or on an accent chair, banquette or ottoman where its gold tone can catch the light. It also works well with walnut, cream and olive for a layered scheme with warmth and contrast.

Pair with warm neutrals or deep green for a refined, sunny accent.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Padang Or without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
