Padang Corail

Palto FabricM4119-06

Padang Corail shows a lively coral ground patterned with repeating ivory and terracotta diamond forms. The effect is warm, rhythmic and slightly worn-in, with the motif reading clearly across the weave.

About this fabric

Padang Corail from Manuel Canovas’ Palto collection is a textile fabric with a repeat of approx. V 14cm / H 14cm and an overall width of approx. 135cm. The composition is 58% Cotton, 32% Viscose, 8% Acrylic and 2% Polyester, giving the surface a textured woven feel with a soft matte-lustre rather than a flat print look. In this colourway, the coral tone sits between pink and terracotta, softened by pale cream patterning and small darker accents that sharpen the geometric rhythm. The result feels warm and energetic, but still grounded enough to work as a versatile decorative cloth.

How to use it

Use it on a statement chair, ottoman or cushion stack where the coral pattern can lift neutral upholstery. It also works well in a scheme with plaster pinks, sand, oat and aged brass for a sun-warmed, Mediterranean feel.

A warm coral geometric that brings lively colour without feeling harsh.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Padang Corail without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
