About this fabric

Padang Paon is a fabric from the Palto collection by Manuel Canovas, woven here in a small-scale geometric repeat that measures approximately V 14cm and H 14cm. The composition is 58% Cotton, 32% Viscose, 8% Acrylic and 2% Polyester, which gives the surface a slightly textural, softly lustrous handle. In this colourway the teal lines sit against a pale ivory base, with the motif breaking into a subtle woven grain that keeps the design from feeling flat. At approximately 135cm wide, it is a practical option for both upholstery and drapery where you want pattern without heaviness.

How to use it

Use this teal version to lift neutral upholstery, or carry it into curtains where the pale ground will help bounce light around the room. It pairs especially well with oak, chalk white and brushed brass for a clean, contemporary scheme.

A crisp, geometric teal that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
