Oscar Sable is a softly sunlit neutral linen with a calm, even surface and a gentle warm undertone. Its plain weave gives the colour a subtle chalky depth rather than a flat beige finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Oscar Sable has a natural crispness and a fine, visible textile grain that reads clearly in the light. The colour is a warm sable-cream: muted, mellow and slightly biscuit-toned, with enough depth to sit comfortably in a scheme without feeling stark. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it presents as a plain cloth rather than a patterned design, making the weave and tone the main features. At 142cm approx wide and finished with care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative fabric with a refined, natural look.

How to use it

Use this shade to soften upholstered pieces, especially where you want a relaxed linen look without a cool grey cast. It also suits curtains or roman blinds alongside oak, travertine and brushed brass, where its warm neutrality will add quiet depth.

A quietly warm neutral that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
