About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted lilac-purple with a warm, dusty cast, while the tiny repeating motif appears in a golden tone that catches the light against the matte ground. The design has a compact 7cm vertical by 6cm horizontal repeat, giving the surface a neat, jewelled rhythm rather than a large-scale pattern. Woven in 46% cotton, 38% polyester and 16% viscose, the cloth feels like a versatile decorative fabric with enough body for upholstery and enough presence for drapery. At approximately 144cm wide, it is practical for both statement cushions and elegant curtains, and the overall effect is smart without feeling severe.

How to use it

Pair this amethyst shade with pale oak, chalky neutrals or aged brass to bring out the warmer golden flecks. It works especially well on accent chairs, headboards or curtains in rooms that need a soft colour accent rather than a strong, saturated purple.

Use it for tailored curtains or accent upholstery where you want a refined lilac glow.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
