Manuel Canovas

Opio Celadon

Opio FabricM4014-04

Opio Celadon reads as a quiet, cool green with a pale mineral cast. The small geometric motif forms a neat all-over grid that feels crisp and orderly in this light colourway.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is woven in a composition of 46% Cotton, 38% Polyester and 16% Viscose, with an approximate width of 144cm and a repeat of V 7cm / H 6cm. In Celadon, the design softens into a muted sage-green tone with a slightly chalky, airy appearance rather than a saturated or bright finish. The tiny repeated motif is clearly defined across the surface, giving the cloth a measured rhythm and a smart decorative feel. It should work neatly where a controlled pattern and a calm, cool-green palette are wanted.

How to use it

Use this celadon shade to lighten a scheme with oak, limestone and brushed metal, where its pale green tone can read fresh without feeling sharp. It would also sit well alongside ivory linens and deeper moss accents for a layered but restrained room.

A calm celadon ground that suits tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Opio Celadon without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
