Mandarin Vert d'Eau
Ondine FabricM4153-02
Mandarin Vert d'Eau is a softly painted scenic linen with pagodas, bridges and trees drifting across a warm ivory ground. The verdant greens and pale mineral accents give the design a fresh, tranquil feel.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen and printed with a repeat of approximately V 93cm / H 136cm, this fabric has the scale and presence of a true statement textile. The scene shows pagodas, garden trees, mountain forms and linking bridges drawn in fresh jade, soft teal and olive-tinted greens with fine dark outlines. Against the creamy ground, the colourway feels cool and airy rather than heavy, so the pattern reads clearly without overpowering a room. At 136cm wide, it is well suited to elegant curtains or decorative panels where the full landscape can be enjoyed.
How to use it
This colourway works beautifully in rooms that need pattern with a light hand: think drapes framing a garden view, or a feature roman blind in a calm sitting room. Pair it with chalky paint shades, weathered timber and restrained brass for a refined, chinoiserie-inspired scheme.
Use with pale woods and linen neutrals to let the painterly green landscape stay fresh and airy.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mandarin Vert d'Eau without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
