Lucia Brique
Ondine FabricM4141-03
Lucia Brique is a richly coloured botanical fabric, shown here in a warm burnt orange ground with layered foliage motifs in soft blue-grey, blush and deep plum. The overall effect is lively but grounded, with a tapestry-like density that gives the design real presence.

About this fabric
Lucia Brique from the Ondine collection by Manuel Canovas is a fabric with a repeat of approx. V 63cm and H 69cm, on a width of approx. 138cm. Woven in 68% viscose and 32% cotton, it has a soft, cloth-like handle visible in the way the pattern sits clearly across the surface without looking stiff or heavy. The brique ground reads as a vivid terracotta-orange, while the leaves and small floral clusters shift between muted duck egg, dusty rose, mauve and plum, giving the design a warm but slightly faded sophistication. Its large-scale botanical motif feels busy and decorative rather than delicate, making the colourway especially effective where you want pattern and colour to carry the room.
How to use it
Pair this brique colourway with walnut wood, aged brass and textured neutrals to balance its warmth. It also works beautifully with blue-grey accents, echoing the cooler leaf tones in the print.
Use it to bring warmth and movement into a room with plenty of natural light.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lucia Brique without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
