Kashan Epices

Ondine FabricM4140-02

Kashan Epices brings a warm, decorative rhythm to the Ondine collection, with bold medallions and scrolling borders set against a pale ground. The saffron, paprika and plum palette feels sunny but grounded, with enough contrast to read clearly from a distance.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in a 70% cotton, 30% linen blend and measures approximately 140cm wide, with a repeat of V 75cm / H 140cm approx. The design shows large, formal medallions framed by scrolling botanical bands, creating a structured damask-style layout. In this colourway, the ground reads as a soft cream while the motif layers spiced saffron, burnt orange, rose and deep plum for a warm, Mediterranean feel. The cloth appears medium-weight and visually versatile, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a decorative statement is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on occasional chairs, cushions or relaxed curtains where the saffron and plum palette can add warmth without feeling heavy. It works especially well with walnut, aged brass and plain linens in sand or putty tones.

Pair with warm woods and simple upholstery shapes to let the lively saffron and plum pattern lead.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
