About this fabric

Printed on 100% cotton, Bengale Corail has a lively coral ground that gives the monochrome-looking jungle and elephant motifs real contrast. The large-scale repeat, measuring approximately V 69cm / H 135cm, creates a confident all-over pattern with enough spacing for the scenes to read clearly. At 135cm wide, this fabric has the proportions suited to statement curtains or relaxed upholstery applications where the design can be fully appreciated. The pale motif tones soften the intensity of the orange, so the overall look feels fresh rather than heavy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact cloth.

How to use it

Use it where you want a spirited accent wall of pattern in fabric form: a feature chair, loose cover, or full-length curtains against limewash, cane or weathered wood. The coral ground works especially well with chalky neutrals, warm whites and faded botanical greens.

A lively coral ground that lifts the toile detail without feeling harsh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
