About this fabric
Woven in a 50% Linen, 25% Acrylic, 25% Viscose blend, this fabric has the character of a decorative mid-weight textile with enough body for either upholstery or drapery. The surface reads as textured and artisanal, with the motif appearing almost stitched rather than printed, and the cream background lets the fuchsia, orange, yellow and green details stay crisp. The repeat is large and rhythmic at approximately V 58cm / H 64cm, so the pattern has room to show its full circular medallions across wider pieces. At approximately 128cm wide, it suits statement curtains, occasional upholstery and coordinated soft furnishings.
How to use it
Use Margaux Fuchsia with pale oak, chalky white or neutral upholstery to balance the saturated pink outlines. It also works well in a room that already has coral, green or brass accents, where the cheerful medallions can become the focal point.
Pair with plain linens or velvets to let the fuchsia embroidery-style motif stand out.
