Hankin Alabaster

Newman FabricL9055-01

Hankin Alabaster shows a softly aged cream ground with a pale tonal motif that reads quietly decorative rather than bold. The design has a washed, almost parchment-like look that keeps the pattern light in the room.

About this fabric

Hankin Alabaster from the Newman collection by Larsen is woven in a 38% polyester, 33% polyamide, 21% wool and 8% viscose blend, with an approximate width of 144cm and a vertical repeat of 52cm and horizontal repeat of 48cm. In this colourway, the ornament sits just a shade deeper than the ground, creating a low-contrast alabaster and biscuit effect rather than a crisp outline. The visible surface has a softly slubbed, lightly distressed texture that lends depth to the repeating motif without making it feel heavy. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical decorative textile for schemes that want warmth and refinement.

How to use it

Use this pale, quietly patterned fabric on upholstery or full-length curtains where you want texture without visual weight. Its warm alabaster tone pairs especially well with oak, limestone and muted taupe finishes.

A softened cream ground that keeps the ornate motif light and easy to layer.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
