Orion Iii Alabaster

Orion Iii Fabric

Orion III Alabaster is a very pale, warm-toned neutral with a quiet woven surface. Fine horizontal slubs and softly varied threads keep the plain face from looking completely flat.

About this fabric

The colour reads as soft alabaster: lighter than beige, warmer than a crisp white, with a restrained mushroom cast in the shaded areas of the weave. Across the swatch, delicate horizontal lines and tiny tonal shifts create a dry, linen-like visual texture without a printed motif. Its even, understated face appears versatile enough for both upholstery and drapery, although no composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use this warm cream on a relaxed sofa, headboard or full-length curtains where its subtle horizontal texture can add depth to a pale scheme. Pair it with chalky whites, light oak and muted taupe rather than stark blue-whites.

A softly textured alabaster neutral for calm upholstery, curtains and layered tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
