Orion Iii Fabric

Orion Iii Anthracite is a deep, brown-leaning charcoal woven with a restrained horizontal texture. Its near-black depth gives the surface a quietly atmospheric presence without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

Catalogued as a fabric, Orion Iii Anthracite presents a dense-looking, closely textured surface in a dark brown-charcoal tone. Fine horizontal irregularities run across the swatch, adding a soft change of direction rather than a graphic pattern. The colour reads warmer than a straightforward black or cool grey, with subtle brown warmth visible through the dark ground. Its substantial visual weight makes it particularly convincing on upholstered furniture where the understated texture can be seen at close range.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its brown-black depth can anchor pale plaster, oatmeal and warm timber. Keep surrounding textiles softly textured and tonal so the horizontal weave remains the detail that catches the eye.

A dark, finely textured woven that brings grounded depth to upholstered furniture and pairs easily with warm timber and muted neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
