Restfr Cacao

Restfr Cacao has a deep, warm brown appearance with subtle tonal variation across its softly brushed-looking surface. The even, low-contrast texture gives the colour a gently weathered depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This Kirkby Design fabric reads as cacao brown with muted taupe-grey shading, creating a warm but understated upholstery colourway. Fine, cloudy variations are visible across the surface, while the nap-like texture catches the light softly instead of producing a strong sheen. Its substantial-looking, even surface makes it best suited to upholstered furniture. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Restfr Cacao on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm brown depth can anchor creams, aged timber, natural stone and other quiet neutrals. Pair it with lighter textured cushions to bring out the subtle tonal variation in the surface.

Use this warm, softly mottled cacao brown to bring depth and a grounded feel to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

Restfr Cacao is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
