About this fabric

The colour sits between warm brown and charcoal, giving the swatch a grounded, quietly dramatic appearance rather than a bright or saturated finish. Fine vertical and horizontal threads are visible across the surface, producing a restrained woven grain instead of a printed motif. Light catches the uneven texture softly, adding depth while keeping the overall look composed and understated. No composition, width or rub-test data has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this dark cacao-brown upholstery on a tailored sofa, armchair or dining seat, pairing it with warm timber, aged metal and lighter neutral walls to balance its depth. Its charcoal undertone also works well with stone, putty and soft grey accents.

A deep cacao tone with a charcoal cast, suited to tailored upholstery and calm, modern interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
