About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric is 90% cotton and 10% viscose, with an approximate width of 138cm and a vertical repeat of 79cm, making it a substantial decorative cloth for patterned furnishing schemes. The design shows an elegant grove of slender trunks and layered leaf clusters, spaced across the cloth so the motif reads almost like a hand-drawn landscape. In this colourway, the tones stay pale and breathable rather than saturated, with misty blue-greens, sage, soft pink and warm apricot sitting over the natural ground. The overall effect is painterly and calm, while the repeated trees give enough scale and rhythm to work beautifully in a room with generous wall height or broad windows.

How to use it

Pair Kingswood Multi with warm whites, pale oak and quiet natural textures to keep the palette feeling light. It would suit full-length curtains or relaxed blinds where the large repeat can be seen clearly and the pastel trees add movement.

Use for airy curtains or statement cushions where the gentle multi-coloured tree motif can shine.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
