About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric is woven in 100% cotton and has a vertical repeat of approximately 1cm with a horizontal repeat of approximately 23cm, on a width of about 138cm. The swatch shows a fine striped rhythm built from slender aqua, soft green and pale neutral lines, creating a clean, lightly textured surface. Its palette reads cool and bright rather than heavy, with the lime notes lifting the stripe and keeping the overall effect fresh. The small-scale pattern and cotton handle make it an easy choice for pieces that need a neat, tailored finish without feeling overly formal.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring a crisp, coastal lift to armchairs, cushions or café curtains. It works especially well with white paintwork, bleached timber and pale grey upholstery, where the aqua and lime stripes can stay fresh and defined.

Fresh narrow stripes suit tailored upholstery or light, crisp curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
